Military service

Military veterans and employees of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) may be eligible to apply based on their service.

  • Use Course Search to see if the courses you are interested in consider military service for entry.
  • To apply, list and describe your relevant military employment in your mySATAC application.
  • You will also need to provide supporting documents as evidence of your service.

Documents required

To be considered for the military service pathway, you must provide one of the following:

  1. ADO Service Record Report (full PMKeyS statement):
    • Available to serving members of the Armed Forces.
    • Includes current rank, date of enlistment, length of service, posting and promotion history.
       
  2. Letter from your supervisor/personnel officer/commanding officer:
    • Must include date of enlistment, rank, length of service, and current occupation/rank.
       
  3. Certificate of Service:
    • Must state rank on discharge and dates of service.
