Applying for other types of scholarships

SATAC's Participating institutions offer a range of scholarships and grants to support students. For more information about available scholarships, contact the relevant institution. Helpful links are also available on SATAC’s Financial Assistance for Students page.
 

Supporting information

When applying for an Equity Scholarship, you will be required to provide supporting information, such as:

• Offer of study, including your SATAC undergraduate application reference number
• Proof of financial barriers

If you receive a Commonwealth means-tested income support payment, you will need either your Centrelink Customer Reference Number (CRN) or your Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) file number.

If you do not receive a Commonwealth means-tested support payment, you will need to supply Australian Tax Office Notices of Assessment for each person earning taxable income in your household for the last two financial years. If a person’s annual income is below the tax-free threshold, you may provide a statutory declaration as evidence of their income. 

Rural/regional ranking 

For consideration under rural or regional ranking, you will need to provide:

• Your permanent residence postcode
• The state you moved to for study
• The names and postcodes of the schools you attended during the final two years of your secondary schooling
