Requirements are specific to each course and are detailed in the course descriptions in Course Search.
Because entry requirements vary, being for one course does not automatically make you eligible for another. Always check the specific requirements of the course before applying.

If a course requires a or equivalent, you must either have:

  • Completed study at an Australian
  • Completed study overseas at a level recognised as equivalent to Australian higher education

Your chances of selection depend on whether your qualification(s) meet the course entry requirements. For high-demand or , your chances will also depend on:

  • The number of places available in the course
  • How many other applicants have applied
  • How competitive your qualifications are compared with other eligible applicants
     

Eligibility and rank

Many courses make offers to all eligible applicants. For competitive courses, SATAC ranks eligible applicants to establish a merit order for selection.
