Students who have successfully completed Australian Year 12 or the Diploma can satisfy degree language requirements by obtaining a passing grade (C- or equivalent) in the relevant English language subject, unless the student requires an objective English test as part of their student visa application.
Some programs have higher English requirements, such as International English Language Testing System Overall 7.0 with 7.0 in each subscore or equivalent. Students applying to these degrees can satisfy degree language requirements by obtaining a passing grade (B or equivalent).
A small number of degrees require provision of an English language test, including:
- Nursing
- Midwifery
- Speech Pathology.
